Hi guys!

Here is a 10 minute video that will teach you in detail an exercise to improve your posture, at home without any equipment :-)
โ€‹
this exercise is inspired by a Qi Gong movement I teach during my online classes exclusively designed for posture.
โ€‹
So in this today video:
โ€‹
I propose you 3 variations of this isometric exercise combined with breathwork to maximize the results.
โ€‹
Here are the 3 variations:
โ€‹
1- An isometric version with a full lung retention during the stretch (3 to 5 secs breathold / 5 repetitions in total)
โ€‹
2- A version sitting at the desk during work or at home with a full lung retention during the stretch (3 to 5secs breathold / 5 repetitions in total)
โ€‹
3- A more advanced version without pause and air retention This version will allow you to do more reps in a shorter time while learning body flow.

How many Qi Gong sessions do I have to do to see the first results?

Good question!
โ€‹
A question I am often asked.
โ€‹
The answer is simple: " From the very first class".
โ€‹
The Qi Gong I teach is combined with modern stretching / breathwork exercices.
โ€‹
This forces your nervous system to work more intelligently.
โ€‹
Thanks to this unique combination, your peripheral nervous system & your vagus nerve produce more " vibrancy".
โ€‹

I know, no worries, I'll explain :-)
โ€‹
Your peripheral nervous system (PNS) is that part of your nervous system that lies outside your brain and spinal cord.
โ€‹
It plays key role in both sending information from different areas of your body back to your brain, as well as carrying out commands from your brain to various parts of your body
โ€‹
โ€‹
In fact the body and the brain really work together and are particularly well made.
โ€‹
Examples:
โ€‹
=> The hotter and drier the sauna, the more your body will have to balance its internal temperature and activate strong signals.
โ€‹
= Better metabolic response
โ€‹
- The colder the bath water, the more your metabolism will activate a lot of signals to keep you warm
โ€‹
= Better metabolic response
โ€‹
But also:
โ€‹
=> Tell a child 100 times not to touch the oven because it is hot = very weak signals or declining over time
โ€‹
= Let him touch the hot oven only once.... Strong burn signals sent directly to the brain = long term results.
โ€‹
Well, the last example is a bit harsh I know :-)
โ€‹
But at least it's clear for everyone!
โ€‹
To summarize, the stronger the internal or external stress = the stronger the response of the nervous & metabolic system.
โ€‹

I recommend you to do 5 repetitions (5 reps on the right and 5 reps on the left) for exercise 1 and 2
โ€‹
For exercise number 3, a single series of 10/12 repetitions is more than enough.
โ€‹

Hi all!

This young guy came in with severe back pain and anxiety that was palpable in his presence.
โ€‹
Foot tapping, rapid speech, quick staggering movements.
โ€‹
In only a couple of sessions the anxiety strongly reduced and his back pain was next to non-existent and no longer affected his day to day activities.
โ€‹
We saw all of this change in the spine through the movements we do in our โ€œStretch & Resetโ€ class.
