Stephen's Place Restoring lives by breaking the cycle of addiction. Sister Virginia worked in the S.C. Department of Corrections.

It was there that she met a young man named Stephen and helped him find an apartment so that he could be released from prison. After his release she served as his support person. Motivated by Stephen’s prompting to start a house to help others like him she set out to establish a halfway house in Bethlehem, PA. Sister Virginia chose to name this house Stephen’s Place for two reasons: Stephen had

planted the seed and St. Stephen was the first Christian in prison who was endowed with both courage and wisdom. Stephen’s Place offers an opportunity where these virtues can be lived freely and responsibly. It would be for all the “Stephens” who have dreams and a willingness to make them happen but lack the necessary resources to make them a reality.

So last night we had to walk the plank because we couldn't escape from the Pirate's Chamber at the Bethlehem LV Captured Escape Room. After a good meal at Pat's Bistro, we entered the chamber for an hour. It was a lot of trying to decipher the clues.

When Stephen's Place and Wegmans get together, an awesome Christmas Party happens. Wegmans provided the food trays and our residents and former graduates provided the awesome. Laughter and joy filled the air and then Santa arrived and he brought gifts to our residents and their children. We are so thankful for this opportunity to be together ❤️. Merry Christmas!!!!!
