Did you know that the first public museum in the United States was opened in 1773? And while it wasn't located in Bethlehem, it's a good reminder that we have some exceptional museums in our little town, too! The Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts, one of only 15 museums in the country dedicated to decorative arts, is one of them and it's located right on New Street. This museum highlights the changes in style and design over three centuries. Bonus....Every first Sunday of the month from February through November offers free admission!
