We are deeply grateful for the time, compassion, and dedication our volunteers bring to our community each and every day. Their kindness truly makes a difference in the lives of our residents. Our CEO, Len Weiser, along with our Life Enrichment Director, Michael Hertzog, shared heartfelt remarks expressing our sincere appreciation for all that our volunteers do. Spring smiles all around at Holy Family Manor! We were so excited to partner with Flint Hill Farms to bring an adorable baby goat visit to our residents — and it was a huge hit! From laughter to cuddles, these sweet little visitors truly brightened everyone’s day. In celebration of Earth Day, it was a wonderful reminder of the joy that nature and animals bring into our lives. Moments like these help us connect with the world around us and appreciate the simple, beautiful things. ❤️✝️

Welcome Nicole Perkins to our family! Nicole is a dedicated LPN who joined Holy Family this month, bringing with her eight years of experience in Nursing. She chose this path because she truly loves helping people and finds fulfillment in seeing the positive impact her work has on their lives. On Friday, April 10, Holy Family Senior Living was invited to participate in the “Senior and Veterans Expo” — sponsored by State Representative, Jeanne McNeill and Senator Nick Miller — held at the St. Luke’s Sport Center Fieldhouse in Whitehall. Our Admissions Team, Christine and Alicia, were on hand to provide information, answer questions about our community, and hand out HFSL swag to seniors and family members. April is Stress Awareness Month, a time to better understand how stress impacts our daily lives and overall well-being. Stress is more than just a moment of feeling overwhelmed. As Melissa Castle, one of our Service Coordinators, reminds us, stress affects both mental and physical health. It can contribute to anxiety and depression, increase the risk of heart disease, and weaken the immune system. Stress triggers the body’s natural “fight or flight” response, but when it becomes ongoing, it can take a significant toll on our health. Our residents from Holy Family Senior Living had a wonderful time attending the Lehigh Valley Aging in Place Dance. The room was filled with music, smiles, and lots of joyful dancing!
