Holy Family Senior Living delivered a delicious Christmas lunch to our neighbors at the Memorial Fire Station on Broad St. in Bethlehem. We had an amazing time celebrating Holiday Spirit Week! From cozy ugly Christmas sweaters, to dressing up as our favorite Christmas characters, and finishing strong with funny and festive Christmas hats, the holiday cheer was everywhere. Thank you to our residents and staff for spreading so much joy, laughter, and Christmas spirit all week long! ❤️✝️

On December 18, HFSL Housing welcomed David Shallcross, Director of the Senior Protection Unit with the office of Attorney General. Mr. Shallcross held a very informative presentation at St. Catharine's in Berks County. He provided information and tips on how to avoid scams that seniors (and non-seniors) can endure — from phone and email scams, to financial extortion and even Roman scams. His key tip — the “Double V” — means to VERIFY the information before you become a VICTIM. He also distributed resource materials with contact information and guidelines to report these scams. Residents shared stories of their experiences of being scammed. It was an extremely helpful and informative presentation, and we thank Mr. Shallcross for his insight! ❤️✝️

Our amazing Admissions Team hosted a community-wide Hot Cocoa Bar that turned an ordinary day into a cozy celebration! Residents, families, staff, and volunteers gathered around to top their cocoa with marshmallows, share laughs, swap stories, and soak in all the sweet moments together. ❤️✝️

Holy Family Senior Living hosted a very special holiday program, “’Twas the Night Before Christmas.” Deacon Bob beautifully officiated the play, bringing the classic story to life with warmth and joy. Our choir, led by Lisa Koons and Paula Gabriel, filled the room with the most beautiful Christmas songs, creating a magical atmosphere for residents, families, and staff. We were even treated to a delightful appearance from Mr. and Mrs. Claus, who spread cheer and smiles all around! ❤️✝️

Holy Family Senior Living, was deeply honored to learn about the history and meaning of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We reflected on how, in 1531, the Blessed Mother appeared to Juan Diego in Mexico, offering a message of hope, compassion, and unity. Her miraculous image — filled with symbols of faith, love, and protection—has inspired millions around the world for generations. Our residents and staff were grateful for the opportunity to hear this beautiful history, pray together, and even touch the image as a moment of personal reflection and healing. It was a truly moving experience that brought comfort, peace, and connection to all who participated. ❤️✝️

On December 9, we were blessed to celebrate the grand opening of our beautiful new library in Grace Mansion our Personal Care, lovingly organized and put together by our very own staff member, Millie. Her hard work and dedication has created a warm, inviting space for our residents to relax, read, and enjoy. We were honored to have Father Ceaser and our Holy Family priest, Father Paul, join us to bless the library and all who will use it. Their prayers made this moment even more meaningful for our community. ❤️✝️

Our amazing staff members helped bring holiday cheer to our community by selling pizza to raise funds for a very special cause. All proceeds will go toward purchasing meals for residents in our community who are in need this holiday season. We are so grateful for the generosity, dedication, and big hearts that make moments like this possible. Together, we’re making the season brighter — one slice at a time! ❤️✝️

Our residents from Grace Mansion Personal Care had an amazing evening enjoying a delicious dinner followed by a fantastic theater performance of "Footloose" performed by Kutztown High School! The energy, music, and talent from the students had everyone smiling, clapping, and tapping their toes. Our residents loved every moment of this special night out! A huge thank-you to the Kutztown High School cast and crew for sharing their incredible performance and creating such a memorable experience for our community. ❤️✝️
