Yesterday, Dallas reminded us why therapy pets and volunteers are so incredibly special. 🐾💙
This sweet moment shows Dallas resting peacefully with one of our patients, bringing comfort, joy, and companionship when it was needed most.
In hospice care, it’s often the simple things—a gentle presence, a wagging tail, unconditional love—that make the biggest difference. Our volunteers and therapy pets help create moments of calm, connection, and happiness that truly touch the heart.
We are so grateful for the volunteers who share their time, their hearts, and for furry companions to bring comfort to those we serve. Moments like these remind us that no one is ever alone. 🌿

As we step into a new year, many of us are looking for more meaning, more connection, and more ways to give back. At Serenity hospice Lehigh Valley, our volunteers are the heart of everything we do! We are inviting you to be part of something truly special.
Volunteering with Serenity hospice isn’t about medical care. It’s about presence, compassion, and human connection. Our volunteers bring comfort and compassion to patients and families during one of life’s most meaningful times. There are so many ways to serve:
Sitting with a patient and offering companionship
Sharing, creativity through art or music
Taking a gentle walks
Reading aloud or sharing a conversation
Pet visits that bring joy and smiles
Spiritual care and support
Honoring and connecting with our veterans
And so much more !!
Whether you have a few hours a month or a special talent to share, your time can make a profound difference! Often volunteers tell us they receive just as much as they give.
