Legs Up the Wall pose is a great way to unwind from the day, and can help promote better sleep at night - essential for students, parents, and teachers!
Start by laying flat on your back, with your hips in a neutral position touching the wall. Keep legs up at a 90 degree angle to the stomach, and feet pointed up toward the ceiling. Close your eyes, and relax for the next 2 minutes. Swing legs to the side, and then gently sit up to get out of the pose. You may use a pillow for neck support, or a pillow under the hips for your lower back if you need more support there. *If you have high blood pressure, focus instead on laying flat on your back with your knees bent - do not put them up the wall as that could increase blood pressure*
