Kybella is the first and only FDA-approved, non-surgical injectable treatment specifically developed to permanently eliminate fat beneath the chin (submental fat). By reducing this excess fat, it enhances the jawline profile and minimizes the appearance of a double chin. The treatment contains synthetic deoxycholic acid, a substance naturally found in the body that helps break down dietary fat, which works by destroying fat cell membranes.
