This client knocked it out of the park with only two Roccoco Botanicals products, OxyLift Serum and Yaraay Day Cream. How did she get such a great result on textured sun-damaged skin?

Today I wish to honor Jacine Drummond. She is the founder and CEO of Roccoco Botanicals of Australia, the signature professional brand I use on my clients and on my own skin. It is that time of year when many businesses raise prices to cover anticipated increases in the coming year. I have never regularly raised my service prices, but product vendors almost always raise theirs. My cost per treatment is carefully calculated to ensure that my business can remain profitable, but you'll still see my old Volvo in the parking lot for a long time to come. I hold on to my old Swedish cars for dear life because they serve me very well. After all, Warren Buffett is still driving his 2014 Cadillac XTS. Why should I be any different? 😊

I have been notified by Jane Iredale of a coming price increase from January 1. They have not raised their prices for two years. Dermalogica has an annual price increase. Roccoco has not informed me of a price increase, even though they are subject to a 10% tariff at this time. It is my fervent hope that the current tariffs in place will be declared illegal by the Supreme Court this month, as an appeals court has previously determined. Tariffs force businesses to make difficult decisions about prices in order to stay profitable, and which always impact the consumer negatively.

I have made the decision not to raise my service prices at this time. I am grateful for your loyalty and very generous support of my business, and for the opportunity to run the Lowcountry's premier skin therapy clinic for all people needing treatment. I'm also grateful for your referrals and kind words about my business.

Here's to an exciting 2026, with innovations to look forward to, and the latest skin science to give you your best skin ever. I can't wait!

Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a relaxing and fun Thanksgiving holiday and weekend. I've had a lot of questions lately about using toner and serum, so here is my latest Substack explaining the differences, and why I believe that using both is a good idea.
