“No”vember. A time to say no to things that stress you out, so you can say “yes” to things that fill your cup and give you peace.

We wanted to provide you with opportunities this month to rest, relax, find ease, build strength, or even try something new! Whether you are jumping into a primary Ashtanga series with Stasia or joining Jessica Golden for our first sacred cacao ceremony at the studio, or donating food items to our Food Drive for Bluffton Self Help, there are so many opportunities to say YES to yourself.

Save these dates, don’t forget some registration is very limited so don’t forget to preregister to save your place! Cannot wait to see you on your mat!

The art of doing less. With the start of November and the holiday season, we usually get asked to do ‘more.’ The do list grows, the responsibilities rise, and the feelings of overwhelm can begin. This season we want to help you ‘do less.’ To find those moments of peace inside on your mat when you home life and mental head space seem to feel like the opposite of that.

Join us on Saturday November 9th for Gratitude and Grace; a 90 minute restorative yoga workshop carefully guided by Stasia to help you unwind, relax, and destress as you find ways to ease and find space in both your body and mind. We are also excited to welcome .brewster.music who will be playing a live acoustic set to help you feel more grounded and connected in the moment and with your breath.

Spots are limited, so please don’t forget to preregister if you’re planning on joining us!

GLOW GA!

Spooky Season 🎃👻 is here! Next week, ALL of our evening classes will be glow in the dark! Glow sticks will be provided, black lights will be on to help get you in the Halloween spirit.

Because of the all the natural light in the studio, the later the class, the better the glow! Don’t forget to wear light and bright colors to glow the best.. NO BLACK OR NAVY BLUE!

Week # 1- SET YOUR INTENSIONS

Happy First Day of Fall! 🍁🍂

We want to help you fall in love with your practice. For the next 8 weeks at Move, join us for a special Fall in Love with Your Practice Challenge.

This week we want you to focus on your roots, and your why. Why do you practice? What motivates you to get on your mat? Everyone has a different reason for their practice, whether it is physical , emotional, mental, or spiritual.

As life gets demanding, it is easy to feel the pull away from the commitment of our time on our mat. But sometimes committing 1x a week can be as powerful as 3x a week. We do what we can with what we have 🙂

Here are the details of our challenge:

•Runs for 8 weeks from Sept 22- Nov 17

•Pick your level of commitment! I class a week is just as powerful as 3!

•Practice 8+ times and earn a raffle ticket to WIN a lululemon Mat ($94 value)

•Practices 20+ times and receive a special branded Move Fitness & Yoga Water Bottle, and a raffle ticket to win a lululemeon prize basket ( $122 value)

If you were like me, I used to refuse to use props in my practice. I thought I didn’t ‘need’ to, that it made my practice ‘easier.’

Props open up a variety of ways to fine tune alignment, increase stability and flexibility, as well as create space and ease in the body.

Join Christine for Tools for Transformation, an integrative prop workshop where you’ll learn how to use a variety of props to create both effort and ease.

Come with an open mind and the willingness to dive into something completely different that will help you learn both more about your practice and your body!

This September we have 2 FREE Classes for you at the studio !

🌟 9/4- WARM FLOW 9am - We are so excited to welcome Erica Ellis back to the team. She brings a love and joy of movement to her classes, meant to both inspire and challenge you. Her first class will be free, but she will continue to teach at this time every Thursday.

🌟 9/11- MAT MIX 12pm- Ready to mix it up?! Mat Mix is the perfect combination of both yoga and mat Pilates, bringing together body alignment, awareness, and breath. Join Maggie for this free trial class, and if it’s well received this may become a permanent addition to our schedule!

SUP YOGA season isn’t over just yet!

If you missed our last session, no worries you still have 2 more opportunities to get your practice out on the water!

🌊 8/30- 8-9:30am
🌊 9/13- 7:30-9am

Each class includes all equipment rentals, paddle lesson, paddle too and from the Bluffton Oyster Factory Park boat ramp, and ample time for class on the May River.
