Bluffton Family Chiropractic Our office is located on May River Road near downtown Bluffton. We have 7 doctors in our practice. Dr. Jeff Aita has been in practice for over 30 years.

Dr. Jeff grew up in N.J. where he met his wife, Carol when they were both in middle school! They married and moved to Chicago so Dr. Jeff could go to chiropractic school. After graduation they moved to N.C. where they had a practice for over 20 years. They raised their 3 children in N.Wilkesboro, N.C. but later fell in love with Bluffton and Hilton Head. They moved to Bluffton in 2003 and open this office. Dr. Kate is Dr. Jeff and Carol's daughter. She told her parents she wanted to be a chiropractor when she was 3 years old. After graduating from Sherman Chiropractic in 2004 she moved to Bluffton to practice here with her father. Dr. Kate is married to "Coach Hop." Together they have 4 children. Dr. John is Dr. Jeff and Carol's youngest son. He went to Life University and after graduation married his high school sweetheart Anne. They have 2 boys. We are truly a family practice, we are a family and we take care of families! We have continued to grow our practice. We have added 4 more doctors to our practice, Dr. Courtney, Dr. Lori, Dr. Joe and Dr. Lina. Our mission is to help as many people as possible! We want to help each and every person live to their fullest potential.

Today we’re proud to celebrate the incredible leadership that has shaped our practice and recognize an exciting milestone for our team.

From 2003–2021, Carol served as our Office Manager and helped build the strong foundation we still rely on today. From 2021–2026, Dr. Lori carried that role forward with dedication, heart, and steady leadership through years of growth and change. We are deeply grateful for everything they have given to this practice.

While Carol and Dr. Lori have both now stepped out of the Office Manager role, we’re happy to share that these ladies continue to remain valued members of our team, serving the practice in different—but still extremely important—roles.

Now we are excited to celebrate Catherine as she steps into the role of Office Manager. Catherine has become an important part of our practice, and we’re thrilled to see her take on this leadership position. Her commitment, professionalism, and care for both our team and our patients make her a perfect fit for this role.

Dr. Courtney has been an integral part of our practice for over a decade, and we are so grateful for the care and dedication she brings to our patients every day. She has a special passion for working with athletes and is highly skilled in muscle work that supports performance and recovery.

Driven by her deep love for animals, Dr. Courtney also pursued training in animal adjusting, allowing her skills and compassion to extend beyond people. Known for her kindness and empathy, she takes the time to truly listen and provide thoughtful, individualized care to everyone she works with. We’re so lucky to have her on our team!

Coach Hop teaches at Bluffton High School and is the head football coach there. They have 4 children. Dr. John is Dr. Jeff and Carol's youngest son. He went to Life University and after graduation married his high school sweetheart Anne. Anne is a Technology Specialist with the school system. They have 2 boys. Carol is our Office Manager and has been for 30 years. We are truly a family practice, we are a family and we take care of families! We also have Dr. Courtney, Dr. Lori, Dr. Joe and Dr. Lina in out practice. Our mission is to help as many people as possible! We want to help each and every person live to their fullest potential.
