🧘♀️Somatic Yoga | What it is (and isn’t)
Unlike traditional yoga, which often focuses on poses, form, or flexibility, somatic yoga centers on how movement feels from the inside out. Instead of focusing on achieving a perfect posture, it’s about cultivating awareness, noticing where tension lives, and allowing your body to guide the pace and depth of your practice.
We believe that the purpose of movement guides how we interact with it. When movement becomes a form of self-care rather than self-correction, it can open the door to deeper healing, safety, and trust in your body’s wisdom. If you’ve ever felt out of sync with your body, somatic yoga offers a gentle path back one small, mindful movement at a time.
At Peace by Piece Therapy, our somatic yoga sessions are designed to help you find this balance. Whether you’re beginning a healing journey or simply craving stillness, you’re invited to move with intention and kindness toward yourself.
🕯️Bluffton Locals - Join us Mondays at 7pm for Candlelight Somatic Yoga for the month of December! Please note that this will replace our regular 7:30am Monday morning class.
