With so many types and shapes of to choose from, it’s important to be informed about what you’re putting in your baby’s mouth. This is the Philips Avent brand and my preferred shape for babies. Does
your baby prefer a pacifier that’s flatter, with a bulbous shape or that has “orthodontic” hook to keep it in their mouth? The reason they are easier to keep in the mouth is because they don’t require a baby to
use as many muscles. 💪🏻 It’s the muscle action that is so important! Wondering how to teach you baby to hold this one? Check out my stories for a few simple tips! Many thanks to my Geddes Therapies for

Working with providers who specialize in the area of oral ties and who understand optimal timing of release is crucial for optimizing the best outcome for the baby. Using a combination of bodywork to release fascia tension and prepare the nervous system, combined with working on the oral skills to improve strength, coordination and endurance is a huge part of the process. This is our focus in each therapy session and we have seen great improvements when the process is done with correct preparation (pre and post procedure), optimal timing and with highly skilled providers.
