Meet the Staff: Brook Rogers

He is one of our primary care providers at the Richfield clinic and says his favorite part of the job is not only helping people in the immediate but in the true spirit of the "four points," also making sure he is helping them learn how to stay healthy.

EVERY WEEK STARTING IN MARCH: The meetings of Red Road to Sobriety, a 12-step program that incorporates Native American elements, will be held each Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Meetings are open to everyone and are held both virtually and in-person at the PITU Tribal Admin building.

Help us thank Jessica Marshall for her first year of service to FourPoints!

Jessica is a medical assistant in our Richfield clinic, where she says she strives to make every patient feel heard and well taken care of. Jessica was born and raised in Payson, Utah, and moved to Richfield nine years ago.

She says that when she isn't working, she loves baking and decorating cakes, camping, fishing, anything crafty, and spending time with her family, which includes a 3-year-old daughter and another baby girl on the way in July! Speaking of family, Jessica says an interesting detail about her is that she was an only child until she was 14, at which point she got two siblings. She said this was a big change, "but I love having them."

It's important that our patients feel welcome from the moment they walk in, so thanks to Jessica for being a part of that experience!

We're very pleased to celebrate Miranda Miller's fifth anniversary of working with FourPoints!

Miranda is a medical assistant in our Richfield clinic. She says her favorite parts of working here are helping the underserved or vulnerable populations who might not otherwise have access to care, being hands on with procedures, and in general feeling like she is an important part of the care team. She said this includes preventative care and seeing patients improve over time.

When she's not working, Miranda enjoys riding her horse and spending time with her family. And during these colder months, she says she enjoys reading a variety of books, including fantasy, thriller, and murder mystery.

Miranda, thanks for being such a caring part of our team for the past five years. We know that our patients are glad to have you looking out for them!

FourPoints Community Health believes everyone should receive quality health care at a price they can afford. Primary care, behavioral health, counseling, and dental services are available to anyone on a fee for service basis. We have a sliding fee scale for those who are uninsured.

Many of our patient reviews mention how they had a positive experience from start to finish – from the moment they walk in to our well-kept and comfortable clinics to the high level of care they receive.

Today we celebrate the one-year anniversary of two of the staff members who contribute to these overall positive visits: Cory Oshley and Tyler Carter.

Cory is one of our Cedar City clinic custodians, and he says he enjoys coming into work for the smiles and laughter. Cory was born in Utah and says he considers himself "blessed to have such a great outdoor bliss." When he isn't working, he says his top priority is spending time with family, which includes two elementary-aged boys. They also have three dogs and a goat.

Thank you, Cory, for helping keep our facilities something to be proud of!

Tyler is a provider at our St. George and Shivwits clinics. He says his favorite thing about working at FourPoints Health is that it allows him to work with his patients as a team to address their health concerns. "I'm so grateful to meet such incredible new people every day. It is my goal to help these people feel comfortable and confident in achieving their health goals outside of the clinic."

When Tyler isn't working, he loves all-things-golf and spending time with his wife and two kids. Tyler used to work for FourPoints in Cedar City as an MA, and we're very pleased to have him now as one of our primary care providers down south!

Please join us in celebrating Amanda Nelson's one-year anniversary with FourPoints Health!

Amanda is a dental hygienist in our Cedar City clinic who says that her favorite part of the job is educating patients about their oral health and helping them understand how small changes can make a big difference.

"I enjoy working at FourPoints Health because it allows me to build meaningful relationships with patients and co-workers."

Amanda has lived her whole life in Utah, with the exception of two years in Alaska as the result of her husband's work. Speaking of her husband, she says a fun story about her is that she met her husband at the gun counter at Ace Hardware, a detail that friends and family say makes a lot of sense given her enjoyment of hunting, fishing, camping, and anything else related to the outdoors.

Amanda also enjoys reading a wide variety of books — so much so that her daughter is named Scout after the character in "To Kill a Mockingbird," and her son is Sawyer after the Mark Twain character Tom Sawyer. But true to form, she says she and her husband also liked the names because they are "kind of outdoorsy type names too."

Thanks to Amanda for everything she does to make our patients feel good about their smiles!
