Petting Zoo Part Deux! Brookdale Briargate was back to petting babies and goats this past week, with a wonderfully gentle donkey thrown in for good measure. Ice cream and popcorn rounded out the day for a fun outdoor activity.

We had our first annual Artist Showcase on Sunday, and we highlighted the artistry of six residents: Barb, Katty, Jean, Julianne, Josie and Marie. It was amazing! Paintings in oils and water colors, pencil drawings, cross stitch and appliquéing and handmade dolls with all the extras. The beauty was only outshone by the joy in the building.
