In healthcare, Black professionals have long played a vital role in advancing patient care, education, and advocacy, often while facing systemic barriers. Their work continues to strengthen our health system and improve outcomes for patients and communities across Canada.

At Canadian Association of Physician Assistants, we reaffirm our commitment to equity, inclusion, and representation in healthcare. This month and every month, we recognize that a stronger and more equitable health system is built when all voices are heard, valued, and supported.

Physician Assistants reduce wait times, make it easier to get connected with a doctor, and help expand access to care. They also reduce burnout in our health system and adding just one PA can increase a clinic’s patient roster by at least 500.

With AdvoKit, you can send a pre written or personalized letter directly to your elected officials. No writing needed. No searching for contacts. It builds and sends the letter for you.

Every letter helps raise awareness and pushes for better PA integration across Canada.

Take a minute to send yours? It really makes a difference:

As governments work to address challenges and improve health systems, Physician Assistants (PAs) should be considered a key part of the solution.
