CAPA has members in all national regions as well as the Canadian Armed Forces sharing

a desire to help develop Canadian health care, and to advocate for the professions’ model of cooperative, collaborative, patient centered quality health care. ⭐️Meet Dua, a trailblazing Physician Assistant making history in Saskatoon.

Dua is the first PA at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital, where she works in Pediatric Cardiology. A graduate of Yale University, Dua brings her passion for care and education to the University of Saskatchewan’s MPAS program as co-lead for PA professionalism and soon-to-be instructor.

Born in California and now calling Saskatchewan home, Dua also mentors aspiring PAs across North America. When she's not in scrubs, you'll find her sipping matcha, scuba diving, or exploring new destinations with her husband Syed, a Radiology resident.
