Darius Slay, our standout cornerback, went down with a groin injury during a pivotal game against the Giants. In the second half, he showcased his explosive athleticism while defending a crucial pass, but the intensity of the game took its toll. This strain of the adductor muscles is a setback, but weโ€™re hoping for a speedy recovery! We know Slay will bounce back stronger than ever.

Carpal tunnel syndrome causes compression of the median nerve. Patients may experience pain, numbness, tingling, or burning throughout the palm of the hand and first four fingers. ๐Ÿ‘Š

Here are a few exercises demonstrated by aide Angelo Grippi to try out:

โœ”๏ธ Wrist flexor stretch: Elevate the affected arm with palm facing down, bend your wrist back and use unaffected hand to bend your wrist toward you. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds and repeat this 3 times.

โœ”๏ธ Wrist flexor curls: Rest the affected arm on a stable surface palm facing up and the hand slightly hanging off the edge. Make a fist and curl your wrists up. Perform 3 sets of 10 repetitions.

โœ”๏ธ Median nerve glides: Begin with your affected arm in a relaxed 90 degree angle with your head in neutral. Slowly extend at the elbow then follow with the wrist and fingers. Gently tilt your head opposite of the affected arm. Relax to the original position then repeat 15x.

To enhance the results, we often incorporate electrical stimulation using microcurrents along with soothing heat. This powerful combination not only boosts the effectiveness of the treatment but also provides a comforting experience.
