Smooth threads
In this patient we are using smooth threads to treat the stubborn “11” lines between her eyes. This is a higher risk area for filler so threads are a great option.

Smooth threads are different from lifting/barbed threads as the goal is not lifting the tissue but instead tightening the skin, addressing fine lines and stimulating collagen.

These threads are made from an absorbable polydioxanone (PDO). A dissolvable suture material that has been used for years in surgery.

They work by stimulating collagen in the area being treated. Treatment is fast with minimal pain and results are seen immediately. They are a quick, inexpensive add on to any appointment.
