Hi everyone! My name is Reuben Mathews and I’ll be graduating this spring from UT Austin with a double major in Biology and Music Performance, along with a Pre-Health Certificate. I’m originally from Frisco, so I’m excited to be back in the area!

I chose this program because while I’ve gained valuable clinical experience as an EMT, I’m eager to further develop my skills in the clinic setting. I believe this program will help me build a stronger foundation as I continue preparing for medical school.

Hi everyone! My name is Allen Zhang, and I will be graduating this spring from UT Austin with a B.S. in Computational Biology. I’m originally from Fort Worth, and I’m happy to be spending my gap year back in DFW.

I'm excited to get a comprehensive look at how medicine is practiced and to learn more about advancements in sleep medicine. During my time here, I hope to better understand the nuances of healthcare, develop skills to build great relationships with patients, and gain exposure to clinical research. I'm grateful to be part of this program as I prepare for medical school!

Hello, my name is Ashwati! I am so excited to join Dream Sleep Medicine with Dr. Jain, Reema, and the rest of the team!! I am graduating this spring from UT Austin with a B.S. in Human Biology, a minor in Health Communications, and a Pre-Health Professions Certificate. Hook em’ horns🤘🏽

Hi everyone! My name is Navya and I’m so excited to be joining the Dream Sleep Medicine team this year! I grew up in Plano so very happy to be coming back home for my gap year. I graduated in 2025 with my bachelors in Nutrition on the pre-med track from the University of Delaware, and am currently completing my MPH in Epidemiology there as well.

I’m looking forward to furthering my interest in medicine by gaining hands on clinical and administrative experience while I apply to medical school.

In my free time I love to read, try new coffee shops, and play tennis as I was a Division I tennis player at UD!
