I didn’t open this clinic to rush people through appointments or hand out quick fixes.
I opened it because women deserve to understand their bodies... and feel good living in them.

Hormones. Inflammation. Energy.
We talk about it all, and we do it together.

If you’re tired of being told “this is just how it is,” you’re in the right place.

Let’s help you feel like yourself again.

If your playlist includes Alanis, TLC, Shania, or early Taylor Swift...welcome. You’re in the hormone shift years.

Your body didn’t suddenly “break.”
Hormones start changing quietly in your late 30s and early 40s, long before most women are warned.

Common signs I see in clinic:
• Fatigue that coffee can’t fix
• Weight gain that doesn’t match your effort
• Brain fog
• Mood changes
• Sleep issues (hello, 3 AM wakeups)

If this feels familiar, it’s not “just stress.”
It’s often perimenopause and labs can tell us exactly what’s going on.

Schedule your consult, blast “Hand In My Pocket,”and smile knowing you’re finally doing something for you.

Iodine is one of the most overlooked nutrients I see in women, especially in midlife.

It plays a critical role in thyroid hormone production, and your thyroid affects far more than most people realize: energy, metabolism, brain clarity, temperature regulation, and overall hormonal balance.

Many women are unknowingly low, especially if they avoid iodized salt or dairy. And when iodine is low, symptoms can show up as fatigue, brain fog, cold intolerance, or stubborn weight changes.

This is why I often recommend Sea Iodine, a gentle, natural source when it’s appropriate.

Important note: iodine is not something to guess with or mega-dose. Context matters. Labs matter. Your full picture matters.

Supplements work best when they’re used intentionally - as part of a bigger plan.

You can find this is my recommended products list but if you're not sure about taking it, come in and let's get labs to see what you really need.

Peptide therapy can be a powerful tool for healing, especially when gut issues, inflammation, and chronic fatigue start taking over your daily life.

This real patient saw a complete shift in just 2 months by supporting gut repair, reducing inflammation, and restoring her energy through intentional peptide use.

When your gut begins to heal, everything else follows, digestion, joint pain, bloating, mood, and overall vitality.
If you’ve been wondering whether peptides might help your symptoms, you’re not alone … and yes, it can be treated.

Waking up between 2–4 AM is one of the most common complaints I hear in clinic, especially during perimenopause and menopause.

During these hours, your body should be in its deepest repair phase.

But when hormones are shifting, that timing gets disrupted.

Here’s what’s often actually happening 👇

Common drivers I see in practice:
• Blood sugar drops overnight
• Low progesterone
• Elevated nighttime cortisol
• Insulin resistance
• Inflammation + HPA axis dysregulation

Translation?
Your stress hormone is waking you up.

This isn’t a “sleep problem.”
It’s a hormone timing problem and melatonin alone won’t fix it.

The good news?
When we look at labs, stabilize blood sugar, and support hormone balance, sleep can improve... sometimes dramatically.

If this sounds familiar, your body isn’t broken.
It’s just asking for the right support.

Make an appointment and let's fix this.

There's so much buzz about peptides and for good reason!

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that help your body do what it already knows how to do… just more efficiently.

At Katherine Johnson Wellness, we offer personalized peptide therapy to support:
• Visceral fat & body composition
• Energy, focus & sleep
• Skin, hair & muscle tone
• Healthy aging & hormone balance
• Appetite control & metabolic reset

The key? We don’t guess.
We start with labs, talk through your symptoms and goals, and build a plan designed for your body.
You administer the peptides at home with a customized protocol that we'll walk you through and make sure you're comfortable.

If one of these slides made you say “that’s me," it might be time to explore peptides.
Come in for an appointment and let's get started on your labs.

Perimenopause sends a lot of women straight to the supplement aisle. Or adding to cart after watching a random influencer on Instagram talk about something that helped her.

Some supplements help. Some don’t. And some actually make symptoms worse.
This is why labs, history, and hormone evaluation matter more than trends.

In my bio, I have page of recommended supplements to help you.

And as part of your annual physical follow-up, after we have your labs, I'll actually make you a list of exactly what you need.

If you feel like your brain just… disappeared, you’re not imagining it.
Brain fog is one of the most common symptoms women experience in perimenopause.

Here’s why it happens:
• Estrogen plays a role in memory and focus
• Poor sleep wrecks cognitive function
• Cortisol and chronic stress overload your brain
• Hormone shifts affect neurotransmitters

And no, sis, this doesn’t mean you’re “losing it.”

The solution isn’t taking fish oil or adding more caffeine.
It’s addressing hormones, sleep, stress, and overall metabolic health.

Don't suffer. We can fix it, just come in for an appointment.

Valentine’s Day isn’t just about romance. It’s about feeling connected to your body again, and yes, that means pleasure.

Low libido is common during perimenopause, but it’s not something you have to ignore or push through.

Your hormones, sleep, stress, and overall health all affect your libido and that means... if we can fix some of those, then you can get your sexy back.

It's part of self care. 😍

Share this with a friend who needs it and then both of you come in to get those hormones checked. 😉

Perimenopause habits… rated.
Some of these help way more than you think.
And some? They’re popular, but they don’t actually move the needle for midlife women.

Here’s the quick breakdown:
Sleep, strength training, protein, hormone labs, and post-meal walks = major wins for your metabolism and mood.
More cardio, low-cal dieting, and random supplements = not the strategy you think they are. They can even make symptoms worse.

If you’re in the perimenopause season and feeling off… it’s not your fault. Your hormones, metabolism, and stress systems are shifting — and your old habits aren’t working the same.

If your desire has changed and you don’t feel like yourself anymore, you’re not broken, and you’re not alone.

During perimenopause, hormonal shifts can affect far more than your cycle. Estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, and even thyroid health all play a role in how you feel in your body including desire, comfort, energy, and confidence.

Low libido often shows up alongside things like:
• trouble sleeping
• mood changes
• low energy
• brain fog
• weight changes
• vaginal dryness

These symptoms are your body communicating, not something to ignore or push through.

The good news? This is common. And it’s treatable.

With the right labs, support, and plan, many women feel connected to themselves again - mentally, physically, and emotionally.

This is common and treatable. Come in and let's talk.
