🎉 Celebrating 4 Years with Dona Nguyen! 🎉

Four years ago, Dona became the very first person to take a chance on Mosaic Way Counseling and because she said “yes,” it helped make the vision of a group practice feel possible.

Before there was a growing team, multiple offices, or big expansion plans, there was simply trust, hard work, and a shared belief that counseling could be done differently.

Dona has been part of every season since: every challenge, every transition, and every milestone, rolling with the punches while continuing to lead with steadiness, humility, and incredible care for both clients and teammates.

While helping shape the foundation of Mosaic Way, Dona has also continued to grow tremendously as a clinician and leader. Over the past four years, she has:
✨ Earned a prestigious scholarship
✨ Became EMDR-trained
✨ Completed an intensive C-DBT Certification program
✨ Upgraded her license to become a supervisor
✨ Stepped into leadership as our Frisco Clinical Lead
✨ Begun pursuing her doctoral degree
✨ And this past year, was honored with our Wisdom Value Award, a reflection of the discernment, insight, and grounded leadership she brings into every room she enters

And somehow, in the middle of all of that, she has continued showing up faithfully through every season of life with wisdom, grace, and resilience.

Dona, there truly are not enough words to express how grateful we are for you. Your impact on Mosaic Way is woven into every part of who we are today. Thank you for believing in this vision from the very beginning and helping build something so meaningful alongside us. 🩷 💜 💙 💚 ✨

🎉 Celebrating 1 Year with Ava Brown! 🎉

This month, we’re celebrating Ava’s first year with Mosaic Way Counseling and what a meaningful year it has been.

Ava joined our College Station office as a practicum student, completed her internship with our team, and recently graduated from her counseling program at Liberty University. Her next step is officially becoming an LPC-Associate, and we could not be more excited for what’s ahead.

Over the past year, we’ve had the joy of watching Ava grow into such a thoughtful, compassionate, and grounded clinician. She brings warmth, gentleness, and intentionality into every space she enters, helping clients feel safe, valued, and understood.

From supporting college students and young adults through anxiety and life transitions to creating meaningful connections through her calm and authentic presence, Ava has already made such an impact on our team and community.

Ava, we are so grateful you chose to grow with us. It has been an honor to walk alongside you during this season, and we cannot wait to see all the ways you continue stepping into your calling. 🩷 💜 💙 💚 ✨

✨ Celebrating 3 Years of Ximena at Mosaic Way ✨

Over the last three years, Ximena has embodied what it means to serve others with wisdom, dedication, and heart.

During her time at Mosaic Way, she became the first clinician on our team to earn her Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD), an incredible accomplishment that reflects her commitment to growth and excellence in the work she does every day.

Beyond serving clients at Mosaic Way on nights and weekends, Ximena also works full-time as a school counselor with McKinney ISD and volunteers at Hope Clinic of McKinney, continually finding ways to care for and advocate for others in her community. Her passion for serving families has also led her to pursue additional training in PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy), allowing her to support children and parents with even greater intentionality, compassion, and skill.

What stands out most about Ximena isn’t just all that she accomplishes; it’s the grace, kindness, and steady presence she brings everywhere she goes. Her clients, colleagues, and community are all better because of her.

We are so grateful for the impact she’s made over the last 3 years and honored to have her as part of the Mosaic Way team 🩷 💜 💙 💚 ✨

🚨 New Team Member Alert 🚨

Meet Caroline 🎉, a warm, grounded, and deeply relational therapist who helps clients feel truly seen and understood.

Caroline is especially passionate about working with teens and young adults navigating self-doubt, life transitions, and identity. She also supports couples and families as they work through communication challenges and reconnect.

She is play-therapy trained, creating a space where children can express big emotions and process experiences through play, creativity, and connection, in ways that feel natural and safe.

Whether she’s in the playroom, supporting a teen, or walking alongside a couple, Caroline brings a steady, compassionate presence to every session.

Her approach is gentle and intentional, helping clients understand how past experiences shape current patterns, while equipping them with tools to move forward with clarity and confidence.

💬 “You don’t need the ‘right words’ to start... just showing up is enough.”

🚨 New Team Member Alert 🚨

Meet Reid 🎉, an empathetic, relational, and collaborative therapist who creates a space where clients feel safe enough to be fully themselves.

Reid’s heart for counseling began through her work as a teacher, where she saw firsthand how deeply children and teens flourish when they feel seen, supported, and understood. That foundation continues to shape her work today as she walks alongside children, adolescents, and young adults navigating trauma, life transitions, identity, and relationships.

She specializes in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) and Activity Therapy, creating a space where children can process their experiences through creativity and expression. With teens and adults, Reid brings a client-centered, relational approach that helps clients slow down, explore what’s beneath the surface, and build confidence in who they are becoming.

💬 “You don’t have to be in a state of crisis or at your absolute breaking point to deserve support.”

Reid believes healing doesn’t only happen in crisis, it happens in the everyday moments where we begin to feel safe, understood, and empowered.

Outside of the therapy room, you’ll likely find Reid walking her Australian Shepherd, Basil, along Katy Trail, trying new recipes with her fiancé, attending workout classes, or crocheting with a cozy blanket nearby.

A favorite reminder from Reid:
✨ “Enter into children’s play and you will find the place where their minds, hearts, and souls meet.” — Virginia Axline.

🎉 Celebrating 3 Years with Hannah Bridges! 🎉

This month, we’re celebrating three incredible years with Hannah, and it’s hard to put into words just how much she means to Mosaic Way.

Hannah joined us right out of her master’s program as an office assistant, and since then has grown into a Practice Manager and now our Practice Director, all while maintaining her own caseload and upgrading her license from an LPC-associate to an LPC.

When Hannah started, we were one office with 5 team members. Today, through her leadership, consistency, and heart for people, we’ve grown to 3 locations and 25 team members and the culture that defines Mosaic Way has only strengthened along the way.

She was the very first recipient of our Waybearer of the Year Award, and if you know Hannah, you know why. She leads with humility, wisdom, and a deep commitment to making sure our counselors are supported so they can best serve their clients.

Hannah, you have been an integral part of every step of this journey. We are so grateful for your leadership, your steadiness, and the way you carry the heart of Mosaic Way in everything you do.

Here’s to 3 years and the impact that continues to ripple because of you. 🩷 💜 💙 💚 ✨

✨ A year of growth, leadership, and stepping into more… ✨

This past year, Phoebe Lo, Dona Nguyen, Kelsey Cruz, and our Founder, Erin Waldrop, each reached meaningful milestones in their professional journeys. They are stepping into expanded roles and deeper levels of leadership within the counseling field.

These upgrades didn’t happen overnight. They represent years of dedication, continued learning, and a commitment to serving clients and our team with both excellence and heart.

At Mosaic Way, we believe that the strength of our care begins with the strength of our clinicians, and these women embody that so beautifully. From the way they show up for their clients to the way they invest in the next generation of counselors, their impact continues to ripple far beyond the therapy room.

We’re so proud of each of you, not just for what you’ve achieved, but for who you are.

If you’re a provisionally licensed counselor seeking supervision from leaders who are deeply invested in your growth, we’d love to connect.

🎉 Celebrating 2 Years with Mia Ventura 🎉

This past weekend we celebrated two incredible years with Mia and truly, what a testimony of growth, faith, and perseverance it has been!

In just two years, Mia stepped out and made a bold career transition after over a decade in teaching, trusting the Lord to lead her into a new calling. And He has been so faithful.

Since then, she has become EMDR-trained, play therapy trained, upgraded her license to an LPC, and is now pursuing certification in PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy).

One of the most remarkable milestones? Mia reached her LPC licensure at the 18-month mark (the earliest possible time required!), which is a reflection of her dedication, discipline, and the countless hours she has poured into caring for others.

She was also honored with this year’s Drive Award, and anyone who knows Mia understands why. She works with excellence, shows up with intention, and carries such a deep responsibility for the people entrusted to her care.

And in true Mosaic Way fashion, reaching two years means she’s earned her Mosaic Way jacket. This is a small symbol of something much bigger: consistency, commitment, and a heart that keeps showing up. ✨

But what stands out most about Mia isn’t just what she’s accomplished; it’s who she is! The way she loves her clients, the way she pours into her family, and the quiet strength she carries through it all. Her faith is evident in how she serves with humility and compassion.

Mia, we are so grateful for you. It is an honor to walk alongside you and witness the way you steward this calling. 🩷 💜 💙 💚 ✨

🚨 New Team Member Alert 🚨

Meet Lauren 🎉, an old soul, creative spirit, and the warm first point of contact for many of our Mosaic Way clients.

Lauren’s journey toward counseling beautifully blends her background in ballet and research with her passion for connection and trauma-informed care. She’s currently pursuing her graduate degree in counseling and is especially drawn to EMDR for its integration of neuroscience and healing.

Behind the scenes, Lauren is learning the full rhythm of a counseling practice, from operations to ethics, to the client journey, so that one day she can offer deeply informed and intentional care as a therapist.

💬 “I have already felt so welcomed and supported during my time in this role, I hope to convey the same energy to all current and potential clients I interact with!”

Lauren brings gentleness and thoughtfulness to everything she does. Whether she’s knitting her first sweater, baking sourdough, or reading late into the night (night owl energy!).

A favorite reminder from Lauren:
✨ “Take things one day at a time.”

We’re so grateful she’s part of the Mosaic Way team, helping create a calm, welcoming experience from the very first call.

This month, we’re celebrating one year with Jasmin Hernandez, and the steady, compassionate presence she brings to Mosaic Way Counseling. Over the past year, Jasmin has walked faithfully alongside adolescents and young adults through anxiety, life transitions, and identity growth, offering warmth, curiosity, and a truly non-judgmental space to heal.

Jasmin, we’re so grateful for your heart for people, your commitment to growth, and the way you show up for both clients and teammates. Here’s to your first year, and many more ahead! 🩷 💜 💙 💚 ✨
