To better accommodate your busy weekday schedules and healthcare needs during the year-end, we’re thrilled to announce that Saturday appointments will be available starting November 15th at our Independence location with Dr. Seethamraju.

Join us in welcoming Dr. Sailaja Seethamraju, D.O., to the NTMC family—she’s now seeing patients at our Prosper location!

Dr. Sailaja Seethamraju, D.O., is a board-certified internist with over 13 years of experience providing compassionate, comprehensive care across outpatient, hospital, and post-acute care settings. She has a clinical focus in geriatric care, hospice, and palliative medicine, and is deeply committed to building strong patient relationships through open communication and a personalized approach.

Dr. Seethamraju earned her medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Florida and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. She has held several leadership roles throughout her career, including serving as Medical Director for rehabilitation and behavioral health centers.

Known for her warmth and attention to detail, Dr. Seethamraju provides care for both routine and complex conditions with a strong focus on empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health.

A Musical Salute to Independence 🇺🇸🎶

Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful and safe Independence Day! The 4th of July is more than fireworks and barbecues — it's a celebration of the values our nation was founded on: freedom, resilience, and unity.

Yesterday morning, we kicked off our 4th of July celebration with a wonderful musical performance by some very talented young musicians and summer student volunteers. Darshan Rao delivered an electrifying rendition of “R.O.C.K. In The USA” while Sujit Gurrapu and Saket Gurrapu performed a beautiful duet of “Stars and Stripes Forever” on Tuba and French Horn. Their music filled the lobby with patriotic spirit and brought smiles to our patients and staff alike. A big thank you to these young performers for sharing their talent and helping us celebrate freedom, unity, and joy through music!

In observance of Memorial Day, our office will be closed on Monday, May 26. This holiday gives us all a chance to remember and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. We are grateful for their courage and dedication.

If you require urgent care during this time, please go to your closest Emergency Room or call 911. Non-urgent requests can be left in a voicemail or through our patient portal. We will return to normal business hours on Tuesday, May 27th.

Dr. Gurrapu is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Certified in Obesity Medicine with 15+ years of experience proudly serving the state of Texas.

Dr. Gurrapu has been working as a hospitalist at major hospitals in the DFW metroplex – Presbyterian Plano, Medical Center of McKinney, Baylor Carrollton and Harris Methodist in Fort worth. Dr.Gurrapu is a patient-centric physician who works diligently to provide the best comprehensive care to her patients. Dr. Gurrapu won several awards for the quality of patient care including the “most courteous Physician” award at Baylor Carrollton.

For her consistent outstanding services, Dr.Gurrapu was selected to the prestigious “Physicians Lead” program by Texas Health Resources (THR). Dr.Gurrapu has served in multiple committees in Baylor Carrollton and Texas Health Resources hospitals. She had served on the medical board in Presbyterian hospital, Plano and is actively serving in the credentialing committee for Texas Health Resources ensuring high quality standards for new physicians towards better patient care.

Dr. Gurrapu completed her residency at Texas Tech University of Health Sciences (TTUHSC) working in both Midland Memorial Hospital and MCH, Odessa Hospital serving the Permian Basin. Dr. Gurrapu completed her board certification in Obesity Medicine from American Board of Obesity Medicine.
