What is Psychotherapy?🤔
Psychotherapy (sometimes called “talk therapy”) is a term for a variety of treatment techniques that aim to help a person identify and change troubling emotions, thoughts, and behavior. Psychotherapy can be helpful for people who are experiencing a mental health problem, but it can also be beneficial for people interested in learning new coping strategies or better understanding their own thoughts and experiences.
You don't have to wait until your life becomes so overwhelming that you can't cope to ask for help. The sooner you reach out, the sooner we can help you get the help you need to live a healthier, happier life!

The list above is non-exhaustive. If someone you know is exhibiting any warning signs, don’t be afraid to ask them directly if they are thinking about su***de and encourage them to speak to a licensed mental health professional.

Today is International Overdose Awareness Day - a day to remember those who have overdosed, to provide education on overdose, and to help reduce the stigma of both fatal and non-fatal overdose.
An overdose means taking a quantity of a drug, or combination of drugs, that your body canot cope with. All drugs can cause an overdose, including prescription medication prescribed by a doctor. It is important to know the right amount and the right time to take your medication. It is also vital to know what drugs should not be mixed, and to seek help if you feel you are not in control of your drug use.
Do you know what an overdose looks like? Do you know how to help a friend or loved one who may have overdosed? There are a number of signs and symptoms that show someone has overdosed, and these differ with the type of drug used. Knowing the signs and how to help someone who has overdosed can save their life. Swipe through images to learn more about alcohol, depressant, opioid, psychoactive substance, and stimulant overdoses.
