Growth rarely arrives wrapped in ease. It shows up as stretching, questioning, pruning, and pressure. Comfort keeps us familiar; discomfort moves us forward. When God allows uneasiness into your life, it’s often because He’s calling you higher; out of old habits, outdated mindsets, and places that no longer fit who you’re becoming.
That uncomfortable season isn’t punishment, it’s preparation. It’s where faith is refined, character is built, and dependence on God deepens. The shaking isn’t meant to break you; it’s meant to loosen what can’t go where you’re headed.
If things feel unfamiliar, heavy, or uncertain right now, don’t rush to escape it. Ask what God is teaching you. Growth happens when we trust Him enough to stay present in the process.
Discomfort is not a sign you’re off track. Sometimes, it’s the clearest evidence that God is at work.
