“You already know what to do.
You’re just negotiating with comfort.”
That’s the real battle most people never admit.
It’s rarely confusion.
It’s rarely lack of information.
And most of the time, it’s not even fear of failure.
It’s comfort.
Comfort will make you stay in relationships you know are draining you. Comfort will convince you to keep procrastinating on the dream you keep talking about. Comfort will tell you “next week” until years pass by.
Comfort will make you tolerate stress, mediocrity, inconsistency, and excuses because at least it feels familiar.
You already know you need discipline.
You already know you need boundaries. You already know you need to heal, grow, forgive, apply, start, leave, pray, speak up, or let go.
The problem is every time growth demands discomfort, you reopen negotiations with the very thing keeping you stuck.
At some point you have to stop asking comfort for permission to become who God called you to be.
Your next level is going to cost you convenience.
Accept the price and move.
