Ok I have to admit volunteering to work the Craig Ranch Byron Nelson Golf Tournament wasn't so bad. Only issue, I had no idea who anyone was or what I was doing but the drunk crowd was hilarious. I did learn about the red pants guys being in charge and OMG everyone was so welcoming and friendly, it's like a big family reunion. I enjoy working at hole 5 and 18.
See you all next year, I'm in

Great News! I am an advocate for seniors staying home longer for less. I mentioned before that the Federal Government is issuing funding to caregivers like me without income restrictions:
$1000 voucher to use toward respite and/or daycare,
$800 for your electric bill
$$ for needed supplies. I requested and received ensure, bed pads, pull-ups and a few other items.

Just yesterday, my contact at Area on Aging informed me about another program that helps families bring their loved ones home. Yes, funding to help you get them back home and take care of their needs. Sorry its for Medicaid clients not Medicare, not just north Dallas its DFW. It's just a matter of time but looks like what I am doing is starting to catch on in a big way. Seniors live longer and are safer at home.
