Starting tomorrow, November 10, Betsy will be leading ADHD Empowerment, an ongoing art therapy group for middle school girls.

This group will address executive functioning, coping mechanisms, self-esteem, self-advocacy, how to communicate honestly with friends and parents, and 504 plans.

Fridays, 5:30-6:30 pm
$50/session
Supplies will be provided.

Our Holiday Grief Support Group starts November 12th it will be held on Mondays from 7:00 - 8:30 PM, ending on December 4th.
Held at Grace Avenue Church in Frisco in Room 219.

This group is for anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one. In our time together we will learn about the ongoing journey of grief, how to care for ourselves, ask what we need, and be able to share what we miss the most. The group will be facilitated by Tiffany Ross MA, LPC. Tiffany is a counselor with Planting Seeds Counseling and Coaching.

There is a $20 fee for resources, but the will cover the cost if needed.

Childcare available upon request.

I had my own notion of grief.
I thought it was the sad time
That followed the death of someone you love.
And you had to push through it
To get to the other side.
But I'm learning there is no other side.
There is no pushing through.
But rather,
There is absorption.
Adjustment.
Acceptance.
And grief is not something you complete,
But rather, you endure.
Grief is not a task to finish
And move on,
But an element of yourself ,
An alteration of your being.
A new way of seeing.
A new definition of self ..
