It is my hope to start educating people about pain related to muscle use, and how to generally manage their physical health so their older years are happy and not filled wit pain.
I will be posting information that I hope you find useful.

We will start easy!
DRINK WATER!!!

The U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine determined that an adequate daily fluid intake is: About 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day for men. About 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids a day for women.

That's a lot of water! Start easy. Set your goals in implements. If you overwhelm yourself by setting your goals too high you'll give up and won't do anything! There's a saying "it's a cinch by the inch and hard by the yard." I've also heard that you can eat an elephant one bite at a time. This is all to say that start with some thing that you can manage and just increase it each day until you come as closest possible to a healthy standard.
People don't realize the detriment of inadequate water intake. Dementia can be caused by dehydration. Your organs don't function adequately the lubrication in your joints suffers. It's something you need to pay attention to! Just do the best you can and then the next day you'll do a little better! If you need encouragement please reach out to me. I'm 71 years old and I'm in the same boat. It's not easy but it's do-able!
