Upper back stiffness?? Incorporating thoracic extension exercises into your home routine can help alleviate some of that tension. One effective exercise is the thoracic extension over a foam roller. To perform this exercise, lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Place a foam roller horizontally under your upper back. Place your hands behind your head for support. Slowly lean back over the roller, extending your upper back, and hold the position for a 1-2 seconds before returning to the starting position. Repeat this movement 10-15 times. This exercise can help increase mobility in the thoracic spine and reduce stiffness, promoting better posture and overall back health.
