One of my intentions for the new year was to practice consistency. I am happier when I have a routine even when it requires doing the hard stuff. With discipline and commitment, we can overcome challenges and create our own change.

The same applies for my yoga practice. My body and mind just feel so much better when I am practicing consistently. The time on our mats gives us an opportunity to clear our minds and heal our bodies. Creating this space for ourselves can be difficult at times but is so important.

Today is a gift that’s why we call it the present ✨

Spent way too much time scrolling this weekend and ended up in a bad place. So I’m choosing to spend more time enjoying this beautiful life I have and less time looking at a screen. I may be a little slower to answer messages but I will still post class updates! Hope to see you on the mat this week

Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30PM for sunset yoga 🙏

After completing my 200-hour teacher training with I was itching to learn more. I felt transformed by this practice and was eager to expand my knowledge then share it with others.

Just a month later, I signed up for my first training with and chose to further my yoga education with their 500-hour teacher training. Since I have a background in medicine, I was thrilled that this program explored the intersection of eastern and western medical thought. With the teachers’ vast knowledge, their teachings were so intentional. I wanted to provide my students with a practice that was liberating and healing - and offers just that. I have learned so much from the trainings thus far and am excited to continue to learn so that my students can experience the transformational power of the yoga practice.

✨I celebrate abundance and I open my heart to the love, joy, and nourishment of this season.✨

The holiday season is in full swing. The decorations are up, gifts are being bought, and Christmas music is on the radio. For some, this season is particularly stressful. The to-do lists never seem to end there is a lot of pressure to make the season magical.

In a season where we are trying so hard to express our love for others, we can neglect our own well-being. We cannot pour from an empty cup.

This is your reminder to spend some time this season taking care of yourself. From this space, open your heart to the possibilities of the season. ❣️

My Sunday class has continued to move through the yamas and niyamas over the past weeks - yesterday we brought our attention to SANTOSHA.

Santosha translates to “contentment.” This idea can be particularly difficult to practice these days. With social media, we get to observe the best parts of others’ lives and compare our situation to theirs. This leads us to doubt ourselves and even somehow convince ourselves that our lives are not as fulfilling as they should be.

I invite you to pause for just a moment.

Allow your biggest smile to spread across your face. Notice how this simple action makes you feel happier and lighter. All the joy we need already lives within us - we just need to invite it to the surface.

Come practice with me this week

Been soaking up all the unique beauty of this island lately. Sometimes we get so caught up in the small stuff that we forget to acknowledge all the goodness that surrounds us. So take some time today to pause and breathe - you might stumble upon something extraordinary ✨

Our intention for class on Sunday was brahmacharya, the fourth yama. Brahmacharya is the practice of non-excess, moderation, and wise use of energy.

Fittingly, social media apps were down yesterday for several hours and we were forced to practice moderation of screen time - and it was amazing. I invite you to practice brahmacharya today as well by putting your phone away and shutting down for just a couple of hours. Use the time to catch up with friends, practice yoga, or spend some time outdoors. It’s amazing how a little shift can change your day. If you’d like to do all three of these activities, join me this week 🙏🏽
