Sung S. Yang, MD

Sung S. Yang, MD Dr. Yang Waikiki was raised in New Jersey after immigrating with my family from South Korea in 1983.

Aloha Urgent Care & Pain Clinic, which is located next to Tesla and a banyan tree on the 2nd floor of the International Market Place at 2330 Kalakaua Ave.,offers a wide range of urgent care and pain managment to visitors and residents in Waikiki/ Honolulu Dr. Yang Waikiki completed my degree in chemistry and premedical education at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and then attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Yang Waikiki then moved on to an internal medicine residency at University of Washington in Seattle. After a brief visit to Hawaii after Dr. Yang Waikiki's residency training he decided that Hawaii had the ideal environment for me to settle down to start hi practice and his new life: the sunny mild weather, nature that was abundant in beaches and mountains, lively and diverse culture made up of local residents and visitors from around the world, and of course the aloha spirit. Dr. Yang Waikiki opened his practice in the heart of Waikiki in Honolulu, HI in 2010 to provide medical care to the local residents of Hawaii as well as tourists. Based on his own research and feedback from other patients I strove to a high-quality, professional and personalized care that was lacking in Hawaii. Due to its success I set up a satellite office in Waipahu on the leeward or west side of the Oahu island. At the same time he invited my parents to move to Hawaii from New Jersey and live close to him after living apart for so many years during my education. Dr. Yang Waikiki and his parents are now all together and they enjoy living happily retired playing golf and gardening. Dr. Sung Yang Bio
