I am originally from Dallas, TX! I started my business to create cute crocheted items. I love crocheting! I am always open to new patterns, ideas and projects (Pinterest is my addiction). I have a passion for crafting and caring! ALL proceeds are donated to a local organization called Hoʻōla Nā Pua. Hoʻōla Nā Pua is a Hawaii-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide underage female victims of sex trafficking with a pu’uhonua (a safe place) where they can begin to heal from their physical, spiritual, and emotional abuse. Our goal is to provide a holistic approach to mental health, psychosocial and educational services, and emotional healing in the safety of a long-term licensed residential facility for minors rescued from sex trafficking. Currently, Hoʻōla Nā Pua is the only organization in Hawaii working to build a long-term licensed residential facility of this kind. I recently attended an ‘Arise Women’s Conference’ and one of the speakers, a volunteer from Hoʻōla Nā Pua, spoke about the goals of this organization here in Hawaii.
