This lovely young lady was bothered by her heavy appearing upper eyelids. She underwent an upper eyelid blepharoplasty and ptosis repair. Three months after surgery, she is loving her new look. She has such a radiant personality and I'm so happy to help her be able to look how she feels.

Epiblepharon is a condition where the lower lid lashes are directed against the eye due to a fold of skin below the eyelid. It is very common in children of Asian heritage and can persist into adulthood. This patient underwent incisional correction with immediate relief of her lashes rubbing on the eye. Three months after surgery - can you see the incisions below the lashes? Didn't think so! 🤙⁠

We are excited to be offering Observ skin analysis at the oculoplastic center. The summary of the skin analysis is shown in the following photos. 1.) True light photography highlights fine lines and wrinkles through various light angles and shadows. 2) Cross polarization demonstrating areas of redness, erythema, and rosacea. 3) Parallel polarization identifying areas of pore abnormality, dry skin and texture differences. 4) Simulated woods lamp highlighting oily vs dry areas. 5) True UV mode identifying areas of sun damage and pigmentations. 6) Layered combination of photos 1-5.
