Enjoy live entertainment, food and retail vendors, free health testing and other resources from 9am to 3pm.

All donor will receive $10 gift cards while all participants will receive food and drink discounts.

Early January is always one of the most challenging times of the year for Blood Bank of Hawaii.

Hospital needs remain constant, but donations typically drop after the holidays.

This year, that gap is especially concerning.

First-time donors, but definitely not first-time heroes ⚡️

Gregory Gonzales, Tony Gonzales, Elijah Aasand, and Jared Kollar of Gonzales Yard Care all rolled up together to donate at Blood Bank of Hawaii’s Kauai drive.

It started with Elijah learning about the health benefits of donating blood (think of it as an oil change for your body 🩸), and when he got a reminder to invite friends and family, he did just that.

Bring a friend, save a life, and make a difference together this holiday season at our Dave & Buster’s Drive on December 26th!

BBH recently participated in the Aiea Community Christmas Parade where we were able to join forces with Laboratory Professionals from all over the state and promote blood donation during this holiday season. This thankful Thursday we recognize their important role in informing evidence-based health care decisions.

Every day, laboratorians nationwide provide essential health information to patients and providers and their unwavering commitment to precision and care drives improved health outcomes every day. Thank you for the vital role you play within our health care system. And thank you to all of you who came out to support and donate.

Blood donations often drop during the holidays, but emergencies don’t. Donate between December 15 through January 5 and be entered to win a $2,000 Vacations Hawai‘i gift certificate.
