Introduction to Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage January 30-31 2026 9:30am-4:30pm
Open to LMTs, Estheticians and anyone who wants to learn these amazing hand saving techniques.
Each day you will learn new exercises and massage techniques designed to harness the power of the elements. This massage is profoundly relaxing, creating a deep trance state to allow the receiver to identify and dissolve limiting beliefs that cause illness in the body.
Jan. 30
9:30-12:30 Learn history, movement and Hawaiian massage techniques for the upper back
1:30-4:30 Learn Hawaiian massage techniques for the legs and feet. Make your pedicures stand out.
Jan. 31
9:30-12:30 Learn Hawaiian massage techniques for arms, hands and shoulders.
1:30-4:30 Learn techniques for abdomen, chest, head, neck and face.
Great hand saving techniques for those who give facials, manicures or massages.
Each 3 hour block NCBTMB Approved for 3 CEs. Take one or all lessons for up to 12 CE hours.
$125 per 3 hour block, $225 per 6 hour day or $425 for all 12 hours.Take both classes for 22 NCBTMB CE hours for $775.

Start the New year with a write off trip to Hawaii for CE classes. January 28-29 10 hour Hawaiian Massage spa sampler class. Covers 2 hours of Lomilomi, 4 hours of Lomi for Pregnancy and 4 hours of Hawaiian Hot stone.

January 30-31 12 hour Introduction to Hawaiian Massage. Both classes are NCBTMB approved and the Intro class is broken into 3 hour classes that can be taken individually for CEs.

Open to all who want to learn. For those HI therapists who also need CPR training I am offering a 3 hour Cupping massage basics and American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR & First aid class at Manoa Public Library February 16. From 2:30-5pm is the blended learning class.
At 5:30 currently certified students who don't want to repeat the entire class can attend a challenge course to show their skills with a written test and practical exam.

In this class you will learn exercises and massage techniques designed to harness the power of the elements. This massage is profoundly relaxing, creating a deep trance state to allow the receiver to identify and dissolve limiting beliefs that cause illness in the body.

You will learn:

Foundations of flow, learn to use forearms, hands and movement to create fluid transitions.

Using the bones as levers to release tension in and around joints with minimal effort.

Using rhythmic pounding, rocking and shaking to tenderize and transform your clients.

NCBTMB Approved for 4 CE hours $125 before 11/21 or $150 after.

You can earn an additional 3 NCBTMB approved CE hours with my Cupping massage basics class Sunday Dec 14 from 3-6pm.

Learn the correct placement, safety, contraindications and use of both silicone and vacuum suction cups in massage. Demonstration followed by hands on practice. Learn to use cups on others and yourself.

Limited to 10 students. 3 hours of NCBTMB approved training with certificate. These hours count towards your Hawaii massage license renewal. $100 before 11/21 or $125 after.

When you register for both classes you also get FREE access to my Hawaiian massage home study course that earns an additional 1.5 NCBTMB CE hours. Only $225 before 11/21 or $275 after for 8.5 NCBTMB approved CE hours of training.

If you need your CPR hours as well there is a blended learning class the same day at the library from 2-5pm. Or if you are already certified and confident in your skills with a current Red Cross CPR certificate you can attend the challenge course at 5:30pm and just pass a written test with 80% or higher and demonstrate your skills to standards to renew in about an hour.

For centuries the ancient art of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage has been used as a powerful tool for maintaining a healthy way of life. The strokes are long and flowing, using forearms and elbows, and giving the feeling of many hands on the body at once.

Each day you will learn new exercises and massage techniques designed to harness the power of the elements. This massage is profoundly relaxing, creating a deep trance state to allow the receiver to identify and dissolve limiting beliefs that cause illness in the body.

You Will Learn:

The history and philosophy surrounding this work.
Breath and movement exercises to activate your energy potential.
Lomi Lomi massage techniques including a full body routine
Massage techniques to work with specific conditions and different body types.
Self-Lomi for honoring and maintaining your own body.
Most importantly you will gain powerful new tools to add to your healing practice in a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

This class is only open to trained professional massage therapists and bodyworkers so you will never learn at the pace of or have to trade massage with an untrained partner. Massage therapists, PTs, OTs Chiropractors, Rolfers and professional bodyworkers with a foundational training in anatomy and hands on modalities welcome. Students who pass this course will receive a certificate for 20 NCBTMB CEUs.

This class is also approved for 20 CPD points with the CThA in the UK and Massage and Myotherapy Australia for students who want to take a trip to Hawaii and learn these valuable skills.

$595 Course price includes the class only. Students are responsible for their own meals, accommodations and transportation to the class. Students will pair up to give and receive hands on massage in this class.
