🌈 Today is **World Autism Awareness Day** — and April is **Autism Awareness Month**! 💙
At Hawaii Behavioral Health, we are proud to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families across Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, and Maui through our Autism Spectrum Services – Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Program.
Our ABA services provide individualized, child and family centered support in a variety of settings including home, school, clinic, and community. Services may include one-on-one learning and social skills groups, all designed to build meaningful skills and promote independence.
Using evidence-based practices like positive reinforcement, step-by-step teaching, and repetition, ABA helps increase helpful behaviors and reduce those that may interfere with learning.
Each child’s journey begins with a comprehensive assessment, followed by a customized Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) developed by a BCBA in collaboration with families.
