Welcome Carly Williamson, LCSW!
We are delighted to introduce Carly Williamson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), as the newest member of our team at Family and Addiction Counseling. Carly brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy, honed over many years of dedicated service in the Oahu community.
Carly's career has spanned various roles, including outreach worker, case manager, hospital social worker, and health coordinator. She has worked extensively with individuals facing a range of mental health and addiction issues, providing support from crisis intervention to maintaining behavior changes. Carly's approach is empathetic and focused on harm reduction, meeting clients where they are in their stage of change.
"I strive to create a safe place for you to share your thoughts and feelings, so you can uncover the truths that are already inside of you. My goal is to focus on any positive change, building upon your strengths and helping you learn the skills and find the support to live your best life," says Carly.
Carly holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) with a focus in Behavioral Health from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Mount Holyoke College. Her extensive background includes roles as a health coordinator at Aloha Care, a medical social worker at Hawaii Pacific Health Straub Medical Center, and a medical case manager at the Hawaii Health and Harm Reduction Center. These experiences have equipped her with the skills to provide empathetic and effective care, always prioritizing the well-being of her clients.
