The Four Agreements by is a reread atleast once or twice a year, sometimes more. I pick it up anytime I feel the urge to. And it’s always a time when I don’t even know I “need” it. A quick yet super deep read and I get something different from it every time. I always get just what is needed for me at that time. I am currently reading it for the 12345th time and loving it.

I am really looking forward to making my own drum in a few weeks!!

Since diving deeper into sound over the last couple years I have really felt called to a drum. But I didn’t want to just buy one, I really wanted to form a deep connection with this instrument through making it with my own hands.

And I am doing it! Along with some other truly amazing women.

“The life you live is the legacy you leave”
I read this yesterday in The Soul of Money by Lynne Twist and it really hit home for me.

Finances have been a stress for me. Single mom providing for her family. Keeping a home. Taking a risk starting a new business, just about to make a profit and a pandemic hits… it’s been some rough times financially and it’s so easy to get caught up in that. How will I provide all that I desire to for my kiddos? There is so much I desire to do, how will I? What legacy will I leave for my kiddos? Getting so caught up in the money trap…. And too focused on scarcity and what I don’t yet have.

and guess what?

It just highlights lack and does not bring me more money.

but when I shift my focus to all that I already have and focus on love and life, all is fantastic. Everything works out. I have all I need.

And my legacy is not money. It is me. It is who I am. Being kind and loving. Helping others. Guiding my kiddos to be the best humans they can be.

Choosing love, especially when it is hard, has changed my life.
