So sadden to hear this...... I had the honor of working with Manny during my days at Cataldo Ambulance prior to his departure to Boston EMS. Manny was a gentle soul who dedicated his life to his family and his job in EMS. This was extremely hard to read about. My thoughts and prayers go to the Tejeda family and the BEMS community. Rest easy my friend...... we'll take it from here......

We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Active Duty EMT Manuel Tejeda. Manuel was a 4 year member of the department from 2012-2016. Boston EMS as well as the City of Boston benefited from his dedication and commitment to service.

Our heartfelt condolences to the Tejeda family during their time of loss.

Funeral arrangements to follow.
