Unbound Strength, Movement & Spine

Unbound Strength, Movement & Spine I help busy parents and active individuals regain strength, build resilience, and move with confidence—without being held back by pain.

Get unstuck with care that is personalized to YOU and your goals. I’m Dr. Josh Glasmann, chiropractor and strength coach. I founded Unbound Strength, Movement & Spine because I know firsthand how frustrating it can be to feel stuck—dealing with pain or injury, feeling like your own worst enemy when you push too hard trying to get back to what you love, and not knowing the best way forward. As a da

d of five, I understand the challenges of prioritizing health when life is busy. My mission is to help people build greater confidence and strength in their bodies while not being held back by aches and pains. I want people to see how resilient and capable they truly are when they start moving more consistently and getting stronger. I take a person-centered, movement-first approach to chiropractic care, where each plan is tailored to your needs—not just a one-size-fits-all treatment. My goal is to help you trust your body again, so you don’t feel fearful or disheartened by pain or stiffness. You are not fragile—your body is adaptable, and with the right approach, you can get back to the things you love without hesitation. Whether you're struggling with nagging aches, recovering from an injury, or just want to feel stronger and more capable, I help you take control of your health through practical, evidence-based care that ensures real progress. The key isn’t to avoid movement—it’s to build resilience and trust in your body again. If you’re ready to move better, get stronger, and show up fully for your family and life, you’re in the right place.

Not all movement prepared the body the same way.

All movement is good. It all "counts," especially when we look at how inactive society is overall.

But there is a difference between fitting movement into your day...
And doing something to actually prepare your body for the things that feel risky.

That difference is where confidence replaces hesitation.

That's what it means to Live Unbound

You keep blaming the wrong thing.

It's not age. It's neglect.

Spend a little more time consistently giving your body (and mind) the attention it deserves.

Dare I say it, have fun with yourself again.
Explore movements and activities (gradually of course).

Your body will thank you.

Just kidding. Go train. 😆

Strength training and cardio sure make this easier though 😜

Did you train today?

Trying to build a life where nothing hurts isn't real.

And that's not where true freedom comes from.

Freedom comes from being grounded, being flexible and adaptable, and rising back up when life knocks you down.

Being free means these things don't own you anymore.

Then you're able to live unbound.

Short version? Simple things repeated win out.
You don't need a fancy program or special exercise to save you.

Its so easy to get lost in the process.

Life takes over, time slips away, and as a parent you're constantly tending to someone else's needs before your own.

I see it in my own life as well as the lives of my clients.

Sometimes we use it as an excuse to avoid hard things. After all, no one wants to add more work to their plate. Not after shuttling kids to practices, attempting to keep the house organized, working and providing, and whatever else you personally have on your list.

The problem is, you cannot pour from an empty cup.

If you're not making the time to take care of yourself and your health, it will catch up to you. Your health will suffer.

And the harder truth is this. There's no quick and easy solution to it. It will require work. It will be uncomfortable, especially at the start.

The up side is that you'll feel better, you'll think clearer, likely have increased confidence, and certainly have more endurance to tackle life.

And to be clear, what I'm talking about doesn't require high intensity workouts or super strict lifestyles.

It just takes a small step to start.

This was the result of a whiteboard session with a client who wanted to reconnect with why movement is vital to her.

Amidst a busy, sometimes overwhelming schedule, she was feeling lost. Like her health and movement was repeatedly being buried for other, albeit important things.

Together, we started by identifying the patterns of talking herself out of movement. Sleep and fatigue were big ones.

From there she fashioned identity and emotional truth based statements that remind her of who is and wants to be. Personalized pattern interruption statements.

We established the times these saying would be most helpful and tied them to locations she'd want to see them.

She recognized that saying these out loud, not just reading them, would help more.

And the best part?
We capped it off by applying the principle immediately. A 10 min circuit that showed her the truth of who she is (strong and able) and how energizing it is to move.

This is the kind of support you get when you decide to

Too many people get this wrong.

I did too, for many years. And I still fall back into the pattern from time to time.

People think they need more discipline. More motivation. Just need to "make more time" and exercise.

And to an extent, obviously yes, exercise requires each of these things. Especially discipline. Obviously exercise requires discipline and builds discipline.

But that's not going to help somebody that already feels like they can't "fit it in."

If you're trying to add exercise into your life's routine, then at some point it has to become part of your IDENTITY.

Who you are.

Not just "I should work out" or "I need to be better."

An actual shift toward "I am someone who moves."
"I care for my body out of love."
"Strong is who I am."

That shift changes everything.

Because you are strong. You are capable. You are someone who can move and recover and improve.

That's literally how you were designed!!

Build toward this identity. Return to this identity.

Give appreciation for who you are and that you can move.

And if you need help along the way, this identity shift is exactly what I help people with, so that exercise and movement becomes more accessible.
