Unbound Strength, Movement & Spine

Unbound Strength, Movement & Spine I help busy parents and active individuals regain strength, build resilience, and move with confidence—without being held back by pain.

Get unstuck with care that is personalized to YOU and your goals. I’m Dr. Josh Glasmann, chiropractor and strength coach. I founded Unbound Strength, Movement & Spine because I know firsthand how frustrating it can be to feel stuck—dealing with pain or injury, feeling like your own worst enemy when you push too hard trying to get back to what you love, and not knowing the best way forward. As a dad of five, I understand the challenges of prioritizing health when life is busy. My mission is to help people build greater confidence and strength in their bodies while not being held back by aches and pains. I want people to see how resilient and capable they truly are when they start moving more consistently and getting stronger. I take a person-centered, movement-first approach to chiropractic care, where each plan is tailored to your needs—not just a one-size-fits-all treatment. My goal is to help you trust your body again, so you don’t feel fearful or disheartened by pain or stiffness. You are not fragile—your body is adaptable, and with the right approach, you can get back to the things you love without hesitation. Whether you're struggling with nagging aches, recovering from an injury, or just want to feel stronger and more capable, I help you take control of your health through practical, evidence-based care that ensures real progress. The key isn’t to avoid movement—it’s to build resilience and trust in your body again. If you’re ready to move better, get stronger, and show up fully for your family and life, you’re in the right place.

The goal is to rule out red flags 🚩

Once you rule out the scary stuff (the stuff that suggests you need either different help or a more specific medical intervention) then it's really about getting people moving!

If it's an acute injury you're dealing with, or post-op needs, then we get a little more specific on some tests and baseline measurements.

Otherwise, like and suggest, stop wasting time and start getting people healthier and moving more.

If your current or past t experience with a provider left you feeling like there was more wrong with you than was good with you...

Or if all the focus was on the things you need to do BEFORE you can get back to activities you love...

It's worth a second opinion.

As a rehab provider, my goal is to lower the barriers to helping people move and get strong.

Exercise is healthy. It's safe. There's always a starting point that matches your needs and abilities.

If you're ready for another perspective, just DM me "START" and we'll talk through it together.

I do not enjoy evening workouts.

Day is spent and so am I.

Yesterday I didn't have time to complete my whole workout. I could've let it slide. Honestly, wouldn't be that big of a deal for me at this point.

I've built a lot of consistency and the skill of coming back.

But I made a promise to myself that I was going to finish it. I was going to hit the accessories I didn't have time to complete.

Tonight after kids were in bed, I remembered that promise.

Am I going to get amazing gains because I finished the workout? No, not from this one time.

But building the habit of keeping promises to myself, even in little things like this?

That carries over into every other aspect of life.

Don't overlook the non-muscular strength you build when you show up for yourself and your health.

And if your only time to workout is in the evening... You're the real hero here 😉

Keep going.

You don't need bigger goals.

You need habits that survive chaos, lack of sleep, and every busy season.

Not habits that you do perfectly.

Just repeatable, imperfect actions you can fall back on time and time again.

That's what moves the needle. That's what changes who you are into who you want to be.

Set goals, yes. Just create the habits that get you there.

Grateful to officially be part of the Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce.

While in many ways a small step, it's a step I put off for too long and so I'm celebrating it.

At Unbound Strength, Movement & Spine, our mission isn’t just to reduce aches and pains. It’s to help parents and busy professionals, especially those over 40, rebuild confidence in their bodies. Seeing people move without fear, exercise consistently, and make healthy choices that reflect the kind of life they want to live.

We're all about small, sustainable steps. Removing shame. Building resilience.

Very grateful to keep building here in our community.

For years I tried to just push harder.

I thought that was what would help me reach my goals. I thought that's how people got stronger.

I was wrong. Explains why I never made progress. 😆

Strength training isn't about pushing harder.

It's about raising your floor.

The older you get, the smaller your margin for error feels.

For parents over 40, that means recovery takes longer.
A hard day costs you two more.
A simple lift, or heaven forbid a back tweak, and you're down for a week or more.

Raising your floor means tolerating more. The same life, work, or play activities take less out of you.

I prioritize my health and fitness because I can do more now than I used to. And I don't pay for it like I once did.

Parents know that strength and exercise are important. I always knew I needed it.

What parents don't know is that doing it imperfectly, repeatedly, and even through interruptions still counts.

It counts because it changes how you feel and what you're able to enjoy.

Without fear of paying for it later.

That's what I help people build.

It's easy for motivation to disappear when things get tough.
When pain pops up or interferes with your ability to be active. When sleep is off or life throws the ol' illness curveball at you and your family.

When you're running on funes, it's easy to prioritize rest over movement. And just so I'm not misunderstood, there are days where rest has to come first.

Luckily, two things can be true. You can rest AND adapt your movement based on the ladder.

Once I applied this in my own life, I started making more consistent progress. I've also used this same principle with practically everyone I've worked with in some way.

If you have to step down a few rungs for a short time, then you do it with the assurance that you're still putting in work.

You adapt when life shows up.

That's how you stay in the game.

You can do more than you've convinced yourself is possible.

This Valentine's day, fall in love with simple, consistent effort.

Not gritty, hyped, or highlight level stuff.

Just constant, steady, true and honest steps to become someone more capable.

Ground yourself in the belief that you're not done yet.
That you CAN do hard things.

And that health and strength are foundations you can build at any stage.

Go enjoy those roses.

Age isn't the limiting factor.

Your choice to move is.

You can build muscle and strength at any age. 40s, 60s or even in your 80s.

You might have joint replacements. You might have limiting beliefs.

Strength is still not out of the picture for you.

It is possible. You just have to put in the work.
