Our certification process is a multi-level system for the H3 professional facilitator. It is important that the facilitator be efficient in moving the handler (client/horse) through treatment-specific goals. The mental health facilitator must show the ability to apply and integrate horsemanship principles with principles/skills found in evidenced-based treatment (CBT, DBT, ACT, etc).

The ability to integrate horsemanship with evidence-based treatment principles/skills is vital for the H3 professional facilitator. The level-system provides the necessary structure to learn, grow, experience, and become skilled in providing quality treatment to enhance both human and horse.
