Pelvic Floor & Core is available to assist women, men, and children with pelvic floor dysfunction. Pelvic therapy is similar to other types of physical therapy in that the aim is to address problems with the neuromusculoskeletal system. In many cases, the pelvis, bladder, or bowel symptoms occur because of a problem with the muscles, nerves, joints, or connective tissue in the pelvic region. Pelvic therapy services are different because they are not delivered in a gym environment but in a private treatment room with a one-on-one session.
