For centuries the ancient art of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage has been used as a powerful tool for maintaining a healthy way of life. The strokes are long and flowing, using forearms and elbows, and giving the feeling of many hands on the body at once.

Each day you will learn new exercises and massage techniques designed to harness the power of the elements. This massage is profoundly relaxing, creating a deep trance state to allow the receiver to identify and dissolve limiting beliefs that cause illness in the body.

You Will Learn:

The history and philosophy surrounding this work.
Breath and movement exercises to activate your energy potential.
Lomi Lomi massage techniques including a full body routine
Massage techniques to work with specific conditions and different body types.
Self-Lomi for honoring and maintaining your own body.
Most importantly you will gain powerful new tools to add to your healing practice in a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

This class is only open to trained professional massage therapists and bodyworkers so you will never learn at the pace of or have to trade massage with an untrained partner. Massage therapists, PTs, OTs Chiropractors, Rolfers and professional bodyworkers with a foundational training in anatomy and hands on modalities welcome. Students who pass this course will receive a certificate for 20 NCBTMB CEUs.

This class is also approved for 20 CPD points with the CThA in the UK and Massage and Myotherapy Australia for students who want to take a trip to Hawaii and learn these valuable skills.

$595 Course price includes the class only. Students are responsible for their own meals, accommodations and transportation to the class. Students will pair up to give and receive hands on massage in this class.

The 6 and 12 hour Introductory classes are open to LMTs, Estheticians, doulas and other spa employees.

Students who want to attend the 24 hour Level 1 class must be licensed massage therapists or massage students that have completed at least 300 hours of their training.

24 Hour Lomi Lomi Level 1 Class December 5-8 2024
Learn about history, movement and a full body fully clothed Hawaiian massage routine and a full body Hawaiian massage sequence with oil, including stretches and joint manipulations. A must have for massage therapists who want to offer 1-2 hour lomi lomi sessions with skill and confidence.
NCBTMB Approved for 24 CEs $695.

6 hour intro to Hawaiian Massage for Pregnancy class December 15 in Kaimuki approved for 6 NCBTMB and DONA CE hours of training.
