Katie is a nationally board-certified Diplomate of Acupuncture (NCCAOM) and a licensed acupuncturist in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. She earned her master’s degree in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine – New York. While in school, she earned her clinical hours at the PCOM clinic and at Housing Works which provides healthcare for people living with and affected by HIV/A
IDS. She has received advanced training in fertility, emotional disorders and Master Tung Acupuncture. She is currently pursuing her Chinese Herbal certification at The Won Institute in Pennsylvania. Katie is passionate about helping her patients regain balance and harmony through acupuncture. Rather than exclusively specialize in one area, she maintains a varied approach, with strong interest and experience in psychological/emotional imbalances, women’s reproductive issues, muscle injuries and pain management. Before finding holistic medicine, Katie graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in American Studies and English. Katie became interested in acupuncture after a spur of the moment treatment in the chiropractic office she managed. When she was done, she knew that she wanted to make other people feel as great as she did that day. In her free time, she likes to explore new places with her husband, cuddle with her four-legged children, and attempt yoga.
