Katie is a nationally board-certified Diplomate of Acupuncture (NCCAOM) and a licensed acupuncturist in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. She earned her master’s degree in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine – New York. While in school, she earned her clinical hours at the PCOM clinic and at Housing Works which provides healthcare for people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. She has received advanced training in fertility, emotional disorders and Master Tung Acupuncture. She is currently pursuing her Chinese Herbal certification at The Won Institute in Pennsylvania. Katie is passionate about helping her patients regain balance and harmony through acupuncture. Rather than exclusively specialize in one area, she maintains a varied approach, with strong interest and experience in psychological/emotional imbalances, women’s reproductive issues, muscle injuries and pain management. Before finding holistic medicine, Katie graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in American Studies and English. Katie became interested in acupuncture after a spur of the moment treatment in the chiropractic office she managed. When she was done, she knew that she wanted to make other people feel as great as she did that day. In her free time, she likes to explore new places with her husband, cuddle with her four-legged children, and attempt yoga.

✨ Preparing Your Body for Birth with Acupuncture ✨

As you move into the final weeks of pregnancy, your body is already beginning the incredible process of preparing for labor.

Acupuncture can gently support that natural transition.
Labor preparation acupuncture is typically done starting around 36–37 weeks and focuses on helping the body get ready for birth by encouraging relaxation, improving circulation to the uterus and pelvis, and supporting cervical readiness.

Many expecting mothers find that treatments help them:
🌿 Feel more relaxed and grounded
🌿 Sleep better in the final weeks
🌿 Encourage optimal baby positioning
🌿 Support the body for a smoother labor process

Treatments are deeply calming and offer a beautiful moment of rest and connection before baby arrives.

💛 If you’re approaching the end of your pregnancy and looking for natural support as you prepare for birth, acupuncture can be a wonderful addition to your care.

🩸How does acupuncture help painful periods?🩸

🩶 By Releasing Endorphins: The needles stimulate the nervous system to release endorphins, which are the body’s natural painkillers.

🩶 By Increasing Blood Flow: Acupuncture boosts blood circulation to the uterus and pelvic region, which helps reduce cramping.
Reduces Inflammation: It helps lower inflammatory markers that can contribute to pain.

🩶 By Balancing Hormones: It assists in regulating hormones and decreasing stress, which can ease overall PMS symptoms.

🩶 By Relaxing Muscles: It helps relax the uterine muscles, directly reducing the intensity of cramps.

Your body is always communicating with you.
Fatigue, tension, headaches, stress, poor sleep… these are often the whispers before the body starts to shout.

Acupuncture helps bring the body back into balance before those whispers turn into something bigger.

Listen to your body. It usually knows exactly what it needs. ✨

MARCH RESET 🔥

Winter has been heavy.
Your body feels it.

Cupping therapy helps:
• Release built up tension
• Increase circulation
• Support detox + lymphatic flow
• Wake up stagnant muscles
• Boost immune support during seasonal shifts

As we move from winter into spring, this is the perfect time to let go of what your body has been holding onto.

Those signature cup marks?
That’s circulation moving. That’s stagnation breaking up. That’s your body doing what it was designed to do.

March is about transition.
Let’s help your body transition with it.

Pelvic floor acupuncture offers gentle, intentional support for an area of the body that holds more than we often realize.

This work can help with pelvic pain and tension, bladder leakage and incontinence, postpartum recovery, endometriosis, and overall pelvic balance. By supporting circulation and calming the nervous system, acupuncture helps the body reconnect, regulate, and heal from the inside out.

This care is subtle, thoughtful, and deeply supportive of your whole body, not just one system.
