A Sweet Moment with a Powerful Purpose

The Viera Community Occupational Therapy Department loved celebrating Miss Peters and her special day with something warm, comforting, and meaningful making a delicious cup of hot cocoa as she prepares for her journey home.

While it felt like a simple treat, Miss Peters was quietly developing multiple skills without even realizing it sequencing, coordination, strength, balance, safety awareness, and independence-building skills essential for daily living at home.

Moments like these remind us that therapy doesn’t always feel like work it feels like living. Great job to our OT team for turning everyday joy into purposeful progress!

Special Visitor Alert!

Tuesday, the Viera community had the absolute honor of welcoming a special guest from the Titusville Police Department—Officer Willie—who came to spend the day with us in celebration of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

Of course, we didn’t let him get off easy we put him right to work! Officer Willie jumped in, laughed with our residents, and even joined us for a fun filled game of BINGO, making memories and smiles all around.

Thank you, Officer Willie, for your service, your heart, and for taking the time to connect with our community. We truly appreciate all that you do on and off duty!
