SENDING LOVE TO SENIORS 2022
VIP AMERICA HOME HEALTH REFERRALS LAUNCHES
3rd ANNUAL VIP LOVE NOTES & ROSES CAMPAIGN
MELBOURNE, Florida, December 7, 2021 – With a new year fast approaching, the professionals at VIP Home Health Referrals are urging residents and visitors in Brevard, Seminole, and Orange Counties to start gathering Love Notes and Roses for seniors and veterans.
“The holidays at this time of year are very special for everyone. However, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and after a busy holiday and New Year, seniors may be feeling alone and unloved after the holiday highs. That’s why we are asking area churches, schools, businesses, senior centers, and many others to create and gather love notes for seniors and veterans so we can cheer them up for Valentine’s Day,” said Jill Ball, President, VIP America.
This is the Third Annual VIP Roses & Love Notes campaign organized and implemented by VIP America Home Health Referrals. The Second Annual VIP Roses & Love Notes campaign was an overwhelming success despite the COVID-19 pandemic, generating more than 5,000 cards and love notes for seniors throughout the region.
“It’s a proven fact that isolationism had a devastating impact on those who were cut off from not only their loved ones but people from the outside world. Isolationism leads to loneliness and depression. Many of our seniors and veterans needed the emotional and spiritual boost a caring note, Valentine’s Card or even a simple rose had on their lives last year and we need an even bigger outpouring of love this year for 2022,” said Ball.
VIP America will make sure their staff of professionals deliver your loving messages directly to seniors and veterans who otherwise may not get a little reminder they are loved on Valentine’s Day. If deliveries of Love Notes and Roses exceed the number of seniors receiving care through VIP America registry, the home health referral professionals will share your love with senior care and veterans’ organizations throughout the region.
“We thought it appropriate to take the lead in this special project because seniors should be everyone’s special VIP’s – Very Important People – no matter where you live in the Central Florida Region,” said Ball.
Participants so far include Brevard County TRIAD, a number of local Chambers of Commerce, more than a dozen businesses, school art classes, multiple Condo Association clubs, and a variety of church groups.
“If your business, club, organization, church, or school would like to brighten the lives of seniors and senior veterans, we urge you to get involved now,” added Ball.
