Parkinson’s Awareness Month 💙🧠✨

This month, we stand in support of those living with Parkinson’s, their families, and the caregivers who walk alongside them every day. 💙

Parkinson’s is more than a diagnosis—it’s a journey that requires strength, patience, and compassion. Let’s take this time to raise awareness, share knowledge, and show kindness to those affected. 🤝

Early recognition, proper care, and a strong support system can make all the difference. 🏥💬

Together, we can bring hope, understanding, and advocacy to the Parkinson’s community. 💙✨

Our Story

Advocates for the Aging, Inc., of Melbourne, Florida, provides comprehensive eldercare services, case management, and guardianship to help secure the lives of the elderly. The fact that we have more than 200 years of combined experience provides assurance to families and individuals in need of assistance. Our team has a reputation for being completely professional and thorough. Everyone here has been selected specifically because of their personal traits and devotion to the elderly.

The concept of Advocates for the Aging, Inc., started many years ago. Our founder, Danica Scuderi-Carluccio, spent much of her time from the age of 14 years of age volunteering within the community for numerous senior service agencies. Pursuing a degree in social work at the University of West Florida, she truly became steeped in elderly care.

Danica received advanced training to become a geriatric case manager, a Nationally Certified Dementia Practitioner and a Florida registered professional guardian as well as a national certified guardian. She began working in the field in 1994. Her passion has brought numerous others to the agency and has made us into the institution we are today.

We act as a collective, and we do our utmost to ensure the needs of the elderly are met. You can truly see the devotion in our eyes and the determination expressed by our team.
