Dr. Preeti Bimbrahw is a pediatrician in Melbourne, Florida. She has worked in Brevard County since 2012. Zareena Shafi is a Board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a passion for pediatric medicine and helping children lead happy and healthy lives. She has been practicing for almost two years. She loves taking the time to educate parents about their child’s health. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (2018), Masters of Science in Nursing (2020), and Doctorate in Nurse Practice (2023) from the University of South Florida. Zareena practiced as a registered nurse for five years. She was previously practicing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at pediatric primary care clinic in Riverview. She made the decision to move closer to her family in Brevard County; therefore, she chose to join our practice and we are so happy to have her on our team. Zareena would be absolutely delighted to aid in your child’s healthcare journey.

We are hosting another EKG event with Who We Play For. This event is a low cost screening EKG that can be done for patients of our practice as well as those who are not our patients! The event will be on a Thursday during our business hours from 12-4. Patients do not need to be on our schedule that day to receive an EKG screening. Below is the link to register! This is the perfect opportunity to complete an EKG for sports physicals or even just a baseline screen!

Please be safe with the upcoming holiday. There were approximately 14,700 firework related injuries treated in the ER last year, and 11 deaths in the United States. Some helpful tips:
🧨never allow children to play with or light fireworks
🧨keep a bucket of water or garden hose nearby
🧨light fireworks one at a time and move back quickly
🧨NEVER try to re-light or pick up fireworks that are not fully igniting
🧨Never use fireworks while impaired by drugs or alcohol

✅ And a new update: 15 extra minutes of instructional time on early release days – giving us the flexibility of two built-in hurricane make-up days if needed

📌 Please note:
First day of school: August 11
Last day of school: May 27

📌The early release times are just examples, please check with your schools for official release times.
