In this role, you’ll provide full-scope nutrition care—including assessment, diagnosis, interventions, feeding tube placement, monitoring, and education—while collaborating with teams and supporting quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities include:
• Nutrition assessments and malnutrition identification
• Nutrition care planning (including enteral/parenteral nutrition)
• Feeding tube placement
• Education for patients, families, and staff
• Community outreach and interdisciplinary collaboration

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Dietetics/Nutrition (based on graduation date)
• RD eligibility within 6 months of hire
• Florida LDN within 8 months of hire
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

After six years with Health First, Aerial had built a strong foundation, including experience in outpatient surgery scheduling and radiological authorizations. But with a growing interest in coding and insurance, she was ready to continue advancing her career.

After connecting with a Health First retention specialist, Aerial found the support she needed to take that next step. “She answered all my questions, encouraged me every step of the way, and gave me hope,” she reflected.
“I’d never heard of a service like this before. It made me feel valued, like Health First really wants us to grow and succeed.”

Aerial has now been in her role as an Appeals and Grievances Coordinator with Health First Health Plans for a year and recently celebrated her seventh anniversary with Health First—and still loving it. 💜
