We are a growing, multi-provider, multi-location, spine practice in the Central Florida area. Our practice is seeking a Front Office Receptionist with experience in the healthcare industry.

As the Front Office Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact - cheerfully greeting and checking-in patients, answering phones and serve as a liaison between the patient and medical support staff.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner
• Checks in patients, verifies and updates necessary information
• Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages and provides information
• Confirms appointments and reschedules patients when necessary
• Exhibits excellent customer relations when working with physician offices
• Assists in preparing patient medical record prior to admission
• Collects money from patient when necessary
• Performs related work as required

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the healthcare industry
• Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, dependable, professional, and ability to multi-task a must
• Maintains patient confidentiality
• Flexible and have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred
