Dear patients,

I appreciate you allowing me to help in your healthcare needs over the last few years, however it is with extremely mixed emotions that this medical practice will be closed effective date May 20th, 2023.

All medical records are confidential and protected by federal privacy and security regulations. With your authorization a copy may be sent to your new office or anticipated physician. Please alllow my staff at least three days to prepare and send the records. There will be a fee for record duplications.

It has been my pleasure getting to know you. Please know that I truly care about you and your health. I greatly value our relationship and I wish you the very best of health. I will be at Heart of Dixie Cardiology if you would like to see me for your cardiology needs, however I cannot continue to participate as your primary care in that role.

Attached is a list of providers that are accepting new patients.

Many of you have met Bibianna (phlebotomist/Medical assistant and Will (paramedic going to PA school) whom I’ve hired on to help run this clinic.. I’m dedicated to giving you all the time I can with the help/assistance of Bibianna and Will.

please be patient with me and my staff with changes and scheduling.. at the moment we are very overwhelmed and trying to meet the needs of this community and our patients.

John left to go back to Utah. He didn’t want to continue commuting & wanted to do more nursing skills in the hospital setting. I’m proud of him and he is missed. He left with short notice, which made covering the hours and needs of the clinic a little challenging.

I am exploring options to get more help. Mesquite is a unique community and challenging to find dedicated employees in this area. In medicine the hiring process is unique, requiring background checks, drug screens, EMR and insurance credentialing before allowed to work in a clinic to meet the standards of industry and state requirements.

In the meantime, I very much appreciate you and your understanding. I know we we can’t answer every phone call, please leave a message we will get back to you.

no labs available Monday 02/27/2023. Bibianna will be here Tuesday and Wednesday though. ((So don’t fast tonight!))
