MAKING OUR ROADS SAFER: With back in session, bike safety is as important as it's ever been. Today, Intermountain Health teamed up with Clark County, Amplus Academy, and local families for a special bike safety demonstration, explaining why helmets are necessary, and why drivers should remain vigilant on the roads for cyclists and pedestrians.

Some important reminders from today's event:
-Slow down and obey school-zone speed limits
-Avoid distractions like looking at your phone
-Be mindful and respectful of crossing guards
-Cyclists have the same rights as cars
-Wear properly fitted helmets to prevent injury and death
-Cyclists should wear bright colors and use lights, especially at night and in morning

Special guests include Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft, pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Taryn Bragg, and Jeanne Marsala, executive director from Clark County Safe Kids. 🚲🛴⛑
